2009 Final Final Results

IMG_9401Thanks to everybody for coming out and giving it their all this weekend.  We enjoyed having everybody from around the state, and we are  already looking forward to next year!

Congratulations to Kelly Smith and Chris Ostrom, both from CrossFit Montana, for their fabulous showing this weekend.  They are the fittest woman and fittest man in the state, and they have the T-shirts to prove it!

Preliminary Heat Times

Click on the above link to download the preliminary heat times.  Once you look at the WODs, announced below, you will need to decide if you can do them with the scaling you selected.  If you need to change your scaling, please send an email to jenna@bridgercrossfit.com as soon as you possibly can.  You will need to send an email by 9 p.m. on Friday evening.  Your heat start time may or may not change after that.

We will change the heats for WOD #2 based on the results of WOD #1, though we will keep roughly the same order (Women’s B first, then Men’s A, etc.)

WOD #1

800m Run
15 Squat Clean and Jerks
800m Run

The weight on the Clean and Jerks will be as follows:
Rx’d:  155# male/105# female
Option B:  105# male/75# female
Option C:  75# male/55# female

WOD #2

3 Rounds for time of:
10 Hang Power Snatches
20 Burpees
30 Wallball
40 Double Unders

The weights on the Snatches will be as follows:
Rx’d:  95# male/65# female
Option B:  65# male/45# female
Option C:  45# male/35# female (empty bars)

The medicine ball weights and target heights for the Wallball will be as follows:
Rx’d:  20# male/14# female (10 foot targets)
Option B:  14# male/8# female (10 foot targets)
Option C:  10# male (10 foot target)/8# female (8 foot target)

Double Unders:
Rx’d:  40 Double Unders.  No exceptions.
Option B:  You may choose either 40 double unders or 120 single unders.  Must declare your choice before 3-2-1 go!
Option C:  You may choose either 40 double unders or 120 single unders.  Must declare your choice before 3-2-1 go!

The standards are the standard CrossFit movement standards.  They will be announced and demonstrated before each WOD, but you can expect the usual standards.

Running Clinic on Sunday

Bridger CrossFit is hosting a POSE Running Clinic on Sunday morning from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. with guest coach Nicole Gibson.  Nicole owns CrossFit Roots in Boulder, Colorado and is the go-to gal for POSE Running on the Colorado Front Range.

Update

The Games will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday.   You can expect them to go until 5 p.m.  There will a 30 minute break between workouts, but we recommend bringing your own lunch anyway.  Please show up to check in with us starting at 8 a.m. or so.

If you drink coffee, you might be interested in checking out Rockford Coffee (corner of 7th and Main) or The Daily Coffee Bar (corner of Rouse and Oak) on your way.

The heats will be announced on Friday morning, along with the workouts, on this webpage.  If you need to scale you may do so by sending an email to jenna@bridgercrossfit.com by 9 p.m. on Friday evening.  A final heat list will be posted Friday night, but unless you have changed your scaling your heat will probably not change.

After the Games, we will be going out to eat and mingle.  We will announce the restaurant on Saturday, once we decide which one we will be going to.
